Introduction #

“World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King” is the second expansion in the popular MMORPG series, World of Warcraft. Released on September 26, it takes players on a journey to the wintry forests and snowy peaks of Northrend to confront the Lich King, Arthas Menethil, on his Frozen Throne. The expansion introduces the Death Knight, the first hero class in World of Warcraft, starting at level 55. It also adds a new profession, Inscription, which allows players to scribe mystical glyphs that modify the properties of spells and abilities. The expansion raises the level cap to 80 and offers new dungeons and raids, providing players with a host of improved features and content to explore.
