Wickerbeast Character LoRA

Introduction

Wickerbeasts are a unique and distinctive species within the furry fandom, created by artist DaemonLady. This LoRA is specifically designed to generate accurate wickerbeast characters with their signature anatomical features and traits.

Wickerbeasts are reptilian troll-like creatures characterized by several unmistakable features:

  • “Backwards” ears pointing toward the rear
  • Pupil-less eyes (solid colored eyes)
  • Four-clawed hands and three-toed feet
  • Jagged jaw structure with serrated teeth
  • Short fur covering most of the body with patches of longer fur
  • Distinctive horns that grow throughout their early life

Originally from the fictional world of Osova, Wickerbeasts have evolved into several subtypes including Standard, King, Rogue, Swamp, Aerion, Dweller, and Pelagic, each with unique adaptations to their environments.

This LoRA enables you to create authentic wickerbeast characters across different subtypes with anatomical accuracy while allowing creative freedom in color, clothing, and environmental settings.

Example Images

This digital illustration features an anthropomorphic wickerbeast with both dragon-like and humanoid traits set against a winter landscape backdrop. The subject is a pink-skinned bipedal figure with blue eyes prominent horns curving backward from their head and vibrant purple-blue highlights around the ears and tail tip. They have long flowing magenta-pink hair that cascades down past their shoulders. The character wears a cream-colored turtleneck sweater adorned with intricate knit patterns paired with form-fitting black pants. Their hands rest casually in the pockets of the sweater as they stand confidently amidst snow-covered pine trees flanking either side of them. A narrow stream or river flows through the middle ground between two large mountains capped with pristine white snow under a clear blue sky dotted with fluffy clouds. Their posture exudes confidence highlighted further by their direct gaze towards the viewer which adds a sense of interaction. Snowflakes gently fall around them enhancing the wintry atmosphere. This art piece blends fantasy elements seamlessly into its natural setting creating a visually striking composition rich in detail and color contrast.

Wickerbeast Species Details

Anatomy and Physical Traits

Wickerbeasts have several distinctive anatomical features that set them apart from other anthropomorphic species:

  • Skeleton: Dense and robust, making up approximately 20% of their body weight
  • Jaws: Jagged jaw structure with a powerful bite that can lock into place
  • Claws: Four-clawed hands with keratin sheaths covering bone pieces and nerve endings
  • Horns: Begin as nubs in infants and develop fully over 3-6 years
  • Eyes: Always pupil-less, with eye color matching their blood color
  • Ears: Distinctively “backward” pointing ears
  • Tail: Powerful muscular tail used for balance and as a weapon

Wickerbeast Subtypes

The species has evolved into several distinct subtypes:

  1. Standard - The most common subtype with all the typical wickerbeast traits
  2. King - Larger than other subtypes with exaggerated traits, rare (10% likelihood in a litter)
  3. Rogue - Smallest subtype with no horns and less mane hair, considered “runts of the litter”
  4. Swamp - Semi-aquatic with webbed claws, thinner build, and alligator-like tails
  5. Aerion - The only subtype capable of gliding
  6. Dweller - Semi-blind mutated wickerbeasts that live in mountains and caves
  7. Pelagic - Ocean-dwelling cousins to the swamp subtype

Lifecycle and Biology

  • Lifespan: 150-200 years
  • Development: Rapid growth in early years (childhood: 1-4 years, teenage: 5-10 years)
  • Reproduction: Egg-laying species (monotremes)
  • Diseases: Unique conditions include Sphinx Syndrome (born hairless and deaf) and Berserker’s Disease
